wtf craigslist personals

Where have I been?
Rowland, North Carolina.

What the ever for?
Installing tile in the new New Hope UMC.

Wow, installing tile must take a lot of time since you haven't been updating your blog!
No, actually it is because there is no Internet access available there and I have to drive to Laurinburg to use the net. At the end of a long day of setting tile the last thing on my mind is blogging, sorry.

Well, how do you think that makes your readers feel?
Neglected, and I feel pretty shitty about that.

What have you done today?
It's Sunday so I slept in, then I came to Burger King to use the free wi-fi, and I was browsing the Craigslist personals.

Why were you browsing the craigslist personals?
Because, occasionally I look at them just to see what people say since my life is boring as is.

Was there anything good?
OOOOOOOOOOOO Yeah, hehe.

WTF CRAIGSLIST POST

So, I was browsing craigslist to break the monotony of this section of N.C. when I saw this gem of a personals post. The title made me curious of course so I had to read it. "Blonde arrested in front of group therapy" was the title and you know I just had to read it.

The poster went on to say, "I'm looking for the blonde with short hair that was having problems with her ex. Your friend was there. I was one of the two wearing hats. I was wondering how it turned out and was wanting to get to know more about you."

Ummmmmm. I sure hope this guy was the one directing group therapy and is wanting to help this woman out because if not then he definitely needs to be in group therapy, and so does she.

From the post and title we can decipher that this woman was verbally or physically assaulting her ex at group therapy since she was the one arrested. We can assume the poster is not the group director since he doesn't identify himself as such. I mean it really sounds like this guy wants to date this woman doesn't it? And, that I just don't get.

If she assaulted her ex at group therapy and was arrested for it you can pretty much guarantee that there's going to some domestic troubles in her future relationships... I mean, come on, if that's you're thing go for it, but I imagine you're in group therapy for a reason, and perhaps that reason is avoiding women like this.

I hope for this guys sake the woman never contacts him, she sounds dangerous. Maybe not deadly, and passion is good, but we know she will let it go so far that she will get arrested for her temper.

And, that is no good.

I just don't understand what attracts someone to someone else who is obviously going to cause life to be a little rocky and perhaps harmful.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

So, It's been a little while hasn't it.

Well, a little while ago a certain roommate who's name is on the lease and all the bills didn't pay the electric bill and the disappeared, and I nor the other roommate have heard from her or knew she was leaving. This has given me the impression that she has taken our money and bailed.

How am I blogging if I have no electricity? I am staying at my Dad's place this week, I'm not sure if the job market here in BFE, NC is better than Charleston's - in fact I think it's worse, but at least I have electricity and the ability to cook something!

Food in general is much better. Because I was still looking for a job my roommates offered to help me with food, and by gosh I was sick of PB&J, and those little sea monkeys Maruchen tries to pass off as shrimp in their noodle cup.

Hurray for Udon with Bok Choy and Shiitake Mushrooms!

AND, that's all I have to say about that.

What am I watching???!!!

Anyone else think that this Star Wars Clone Wars Animated series is a pathetic spoof of Star Wars?

I mean the dialogue and writing in the original Star Wars was pretty bad but this is just offensive to anyone who has ever spoken words.

It's been an exhausting day and I was browsing and i got hooked by how ridiculously bad it is!

Oh Thank God it's OVER!

And, now I'm bored.

Goodnight!

That was in my inbox. I didn't open the email or anything, just couldn't come up with a title so there ya' go.

There really isn't much to say. The Volga Centre never did call on Friday so I will await to hear from them on Monday I suppose, and if not then I will e-mail them and be like what-what?

I'm really starting to believe I won't be able to get something to go right on my own, and that's an uncomfortable feeling.

With that said, there isn't much else to say...

So next time then...

33 Cakes with a cake and all the cottage cheese.

What on earth does the title of this particular post mean?

Heck if I know, it's the English translation of something I found on a Russian tongue-twister page.

"Тридцать три пирогаС пирогом и все творогом."

That's the original.

What was the point of that?
Absolutely nothing.

Except for that I am waiting for a call from Oxana, at the Volga center for a job interview. Because she is so many hours ahead of me she should be arriving at her office soon, and though she probably won't call until my morning (her afternoon) I can't be too sure.

And, that is the reason why there is a senseless English translation of a Russian Tongue-Twister in the title.

I suppose it seems odd that I am looking in Russia for a job, but honestly I'm looking anywhere, and a job's a job no matter where it is. Since it doesn't seem there is a job here for me I might as well go elsewhere.

So, even though I am excited about this opportunity in Russia I haven't gotten the job as of yet, so there's no harm in lining other things up so if anyone knows of anything out there feel free to let me know.

Enough of that.

What else, what else?

Nothing?

Okay, bye bye then!

Все абсурдно.

Rubber Band Legs

I am exhausted! I have been up since two a.m. today.

Why did I wake from my slumber so early?

She finally did it. She finally broke up with me. Over the phone at two o'clock in the morning.
Who breaks up with someone over the phone at two o'clock in the gorram morning!? I, of course did not say anything about the fact that she broke up with me at 2 a.m.; this is what went down.

*ring ring*

*ring ring*

Me - (answering the phone) Ugh hello...?

Her - I don't know how to say this... but, uh, I'm breaking up with you.

Me - Well, thank you for finally doing the right thing.

Her - Go to hell!

And, that is why all her stuff that was in my room is now on the front lawn.

Now, before you think I am a bitch, before I threw it onto the front lawn I had the courtesy to put it all in plastic bags.

After I finished purging my room of her tainted belongings I browsed the net for TEFL Certification courses. From, 8 to 11 I called various learning institutes in the area to see if they offered the said courses which lead to nothing. At 11 I took a shower then walked to Old North Charleston and inquired about jobs in every single place there is up there. Lots of walking. Lots of "No"s and a few applications later I sat down with Reverend Belec and talked about Methodists vs. Baptists, and how there are more exceptions than rules in the English Language.

He's a very nice man, and an acquaintance of my father's through work, and he's an awful lot like my Uncle Ed... I thought he might of been Ed incognito for awhile there. Or even Uncle Will (Ed's twin brother), but the Reverend's personality is more akin to Ed's.

Then I stopped by Madra Rua one more time just to pester them about my application before I walked all the way home.

Walking home, with the exception of talking with Rev. Belec, was probably the most interesting part of my day since I saw a man tackled and arrested, got waved at by a surveyor working for the city, and was whistled at by a creepy dude in a wobbly cream and rust colored Pontiac. Of course I did get a lot of stares today, maybe it's these pants make my butt look good?

Thinking back I'm pretty sure I got checked out about twenty something times.
Not bad for a too-tall slightly-too-thick mamacita.

Yup, these pants make my booty look luscious.

When you give a mouse some wine...

...he's going to want some cheese.
It is true that I have complained about my roommates often recently, and I thought why break with tradition now. I have taken some photographs of the house, you can see so until computer screens come with a scratch and sniff option you're just going to have to imagine it.

And, believe it or not I took these photos on a day where the house was relatively clean...

Living room with a roommate asleep on the sofa. Place mats, a computer mouse, clothing, and a backpack strewn about the floor with kid's toys and a cat carrier.

Other view of living room with cat carrier, dirty laptop left out and bags of food stuff with empty soda can by the door.

Why are there plastic bags on the laundry room floor? Because they are covering up the cat poop from the litter box being too dirty for the cats to use...

Laundry room storage, the only thing that is mine is the keyboard all the way in the back.

This is the dining area. Note the used bowl under the high chair, the containers of food left on the table and the place mat on the floor. Take note that none of the items are mine. I think the thing by the door is Carrie's panties...

Kitchen counter space... none. Note empty pizza box on the stove top (Stacy) and the rest of the lack of counter space (Carrie).

This is the kitchen sink. There are clean dishes in the drying rack, those are the ones I used. The ones filling the sink I did not use but I will wash them anyway because my o.c.d. won't allow me to leave the dishes to grow things.

This is in the living room... There is a cranberry juice stain that is hard to see as it is in the shadow, there are empty soda cans and Marlboro cigarette butts on the floor as well as wet cat food cans and bags of foodstuffs. I hate cranberry juice and don't smoke Marlboros. As far as the cans go I guarantee they are Stacy's.

This is the fridge. I know it's not fair to complain about the fridge because that is a shared space, but that's my point! See how much stuff is thrown in there! None of it is mine. I can't go to the store for my own food, and no matter how many times I reorganize that thing the next day it's back to this. Okay, a cluttered fridge isn't that big but look at the top shelf. Plate of chewed up, uncovered, old pizza. Behind the cream cheese is rancid roast beef.
Second shelf: That Wendy's box is two weeks old, the sandwich meat under it is growing things, and the loaf of bread is sitting inside of that clear salad bowl, also uncovered.
Bottom shelf:there's nothing rancid or old, but it's just cluttered.
The crisper drawers, not shown, are actually clean.

This is the hallway, dirty clothes on the chair and sofa, and a t.v. on the sofa. Again, not mine.

Do I really need to tell what is obviously wrong with this child's room. The not-so-obvious thing is the dookie stain on the wall between the bed and window.

Now, the reason this was a "cleaner day" is because I had spent all of the previous day cleaning up after them. See why I need a job so I can move out before I go insane! I mean come on!
