Absenth Makes the Heart Grow Greener

Wow! It's been since January since I was able to update my blog! I apologize profusely.

Here's what's been going on.

I unfortunately did not get the job down in Charleston, but I moved here anyway. A couple of friends offered my a free place to stay while I looked for a job, and sense my lease in Greenville was up it was the cheaper-most monetarily efficient option! I haven't been online in so long because they didn't have Internet.

So I packed up all my stuff and moved here. My stuff is still packed up in boxes since there is no room for me in this house which means as soon as I find a job I am moving out!

It has been one disaster after another:

This house is smaller than I was lead to believe.
These people are messier than I was lead to believe.
Like really messy.
I was told there would be two other cats, other than mine, but instead there are five other cats.
Shortly after getting here my cat, Bayou, fell ill, and despite care and vet visits she suffered a fatal seizure. I'm still not over it.
Bayou's sister Gatorbait began acting ill so my Dad came to get her to take care of her because I used all money I had left trying to take care of Bayou, and there are just too many cats in this house.
I still haven't found a job.
Neither have either one of my roommates, but they are both on welfare and aren't even bothering to look for jobs. This irks me. I am afraid that if I stay in this house after I find a job I am going to have to be responsible for them. I already gave all the money I have, other than what I used for Bayou, to them for the rent and bills that I could pay.

I'm gonna stop writing now until I find something uplifting to talk about.
